Create a workspace in Linux Mint
To create a new workspace, press Ctrl + Alt + Page Up (PgUp) / Page Down (PgDn). Your window will be minimized, you will see a plus button on the right side of the screen. Click the plus button to create a new workspace. You can create as many workspaces as you want.

To delete a workspace, you do the same thing as when created, but instead of clicking the plus button, you press the x button in the upper right corner of the workspace you want to delete.
Switch workspaces quickly
Now, when you have multiple workspaces to work on. You press the key combination Ctrl + Alt + Left / Right Arrow to switch between workspaces quickly.
